My Summer Outfits So Far…

This blog post is a bit different to what I would normally post but I will continuously update this post with each outfit I wear throughout this summer. For each outfit, I will say what the occasion was and where I got the outfit from/price etc.

This was one of the outfits I wore on holiday in Fuerteventura, I went there with my boyfriend for my 22nd birthday at the start of July. The floral top that you can see in the photo is designed to be tied into a knot/bow in the middle of your chest, it’s a nice lightweight top which I also wore over my bikini whenever we went into the food hall to eat lunch before going back to the pool to sunbathe again. This particular day we hired some electric scooters to go on around the resort so I didn’t need to wear my bikini but I did find for someone who has quite large boobs, this floral top didn’t really cover my chest area too well whenever I tied it across me. Which is why I got a little striped cropped vest top to go underneath so that my boobs were a lot more supported under the floral top. The pink sunglasses I found worked with this outfit also. I got the floral top from Primark, in the size 14 and this was £8 but I do suggest sizing up from your usual size so that you have plenty of room around your boob area. The striped vest top I also got from Primark, in size 12 and this was £4. The pink sunglasses were again from Primark and was £3.

I graduated a few weeks ago!!! I originally bought this dress for a night out months ago but when I started to plan my graduation outfit, I knew the collar thing around the neck of the gown (can’t remember the official name for it haha) was going to be red so I knew this dress would be perfect! My family and my boyfriend and his family also colour coordinated their outfits/ties with my red dress which was super cute. You can’t see in this photo but this dress was an off the shoulder type of dress and I just love this dress. I was debating for ages whether to wear flats or heels for graduation and in the end I went for these black heels because they were SO comfortable to walk in and weren’t too high for me. At the front there was also a small leather part which supported the front of my feet really well actually. I got my dress from LOTD in the size 14, this dress was originally £20 but I actually got it in the sale for £5 bargain! The black heels I got from a random shop whilst I was on holiday in Fuerteventura but I think they were around 17 Euros.

This outfit was for a photo shoot with my friend Hannah, we tried to find half decent places around our area that have pretty flowers but this proved to be a challenge, so we just went to a garden centre instead hahah! This outfit I actually really like as it has such a summer vibe to it. The white top is a crop top but I found that if you size up this top won’t be as cropped if you wasn’t looking for the cropped look. The green paper bag shorts are so comfortable and you can tie a little bow with the belt thing that goes around the shorts. The white top is from Primark, size 12 and this was £5 but they also have this top in quite a lot of other colours, I ended up buying this top in two other colours which was light blue and a mustard kind of yellow colour. The shorts are from LOTD, size 14 and the price was £5 I think but I have just checked on their website and I don’t believe they are available on there anymore.

This has to be one of my favourite summer dresses ever!! The occasion again was a mini photo shoot but at a fruit farm this time. The fruit farm had so many beautiful scenery backgrounds but somehow this was the only half decent photo I could find. We did this photo shoot on the hottest day of the summer so far so you can’t see it but we was absolutely melting in the heat. I feel like this dress really compliments the background in this photo though, it’s a nice casual summery dress for any occasion really and is comfortable to wear. I did find though that I had to add a few safety pins into the top of my dress around my boob area as it did show off my boobs quite a lot, so having the safety pins there just gave me a lot more support and made it extra secure around that area. I would suggest not to wear this dress on a windy day as I found I had to sometimes hold the bottom of my dress down so that I didn’t flash my knickers to everyone so just be careful of that if you do get this dress. This dress was from Primark (of course) in size 14 as I wanted to size up one from my normal size so that I had more room to move around in this dress and the price was £10.
